Love the haiku response - especially the invention of "maply." I might have to use that again. Logically though, wouldn't being competent in terrain make Canada less ripe for invasion? To pull from my American history, knowing the terrain and using tactics that worked well with it definitely helped the colonialists in the American Revolution. Thoughts? . . . in poetic structure?
